Fresh, local, and organic — that’s our goal, everyday. Wheatsfield Cooperative strives to provide whole and minimally processed foods to promote the health of the individual, the community, and the earth while honoring the cooperative tradition. Since 1974, when Wheatsfield was established as a buying club on the ISU campus, to our recently expanded store today, we seek to bring maximum flavor and maximum nutrients to your table.

Wheatsfield supports local farmers and producers and, in-return, offers our customers and members farm-fresh food choices. We provide fresh, local, and organic foods including: dairy, fresh and frozen meats, produce, bulk, grocery, cheese, coffee, tea, beer and wine. We also stock a wide selection of vitamins and supplements, general merchandise, health and body care, books and gifts. Our buyers carefully evaluate the quality of every product we sell so that you don’t have to!

Also, our deli department creates exciting fresh choices made in-store daily. In addition, there is a large seating area where you can enjoy these delicious meals as well as kick your feet up with friends!
