The Viroqua Food Cooperative combines a commitment to natural foods, superior customer service, and the building of a cooperatively run business. We emphasize selling organic and local foods and products to promote the long-term health of individuals and the environment. Our co-op serves as a center for community in our area, and we offer the opportunity to create together a work of enduring value.

Viroqua Food Co-op is located in a vibrant rural city in the Driftless region of southwest Wisconsin. Viroqua is a Main Street City practicing smart-growth and promoting independent businesses, a factor in the Co-op’s successful outreach to a variety of residents. The Co-op is also a proud supporter of the first organic hot lunch program in Wisconsin through Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School.

VFC prides itself on offering a one-stop shopping experience. We are a full service grocery store emphasizing organic and local foods and products. We have an extensive selection of natural food groceries, bulk items, health and body care and supplements, and fresh and frozen local and organic meats.

The Viroqua Food Co-op deli is committed to providing the community with the highest quality nutritious prepared whole foods. To accomplish this, we use organic ingredients whenever possible, provide seasonal and ethnic foods, and offer the best possible quality and value. We serve three meals a day from the hot bar, all-day soup & salad bar, fresh baked goods, sandwiches made-to-order including hot Panini sandwiches, espresso bar and grab-n-go case. We have a relaxing indoor and outdoor seating area with benches and umbrellas.

We are always striving to create a beautiful and comfortable shopping environment to match the integrity of the product on our shelves. In addition, we offer store tours. Thank you so much for the continual support that helps make all of this possible.
