Flatbush Food Cooperative

Established in 1976, Flatbush Food Coop is a natural foods cooperative located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Our retail outlet is a full-line whole foods grocery store with a strong emphasis on organic products.

Flatbush Food Coop is a member-driven community project promoting cooperation, personal health and nutrition, a safe environment, alternative business practices, and community consciousness. We strive to provide products that are organically grown, minimally processed (and packaged), locally grown whenever possible, not harmful to the environment, from companies that are socially responsible, and of the highest quality at a fair price.

You don't need to be a member to shop at our coop-we're open to the public-but members receive discounts and other benefits. We accept cash, EBT, and all major credit cards. Coop members may pay by check.

At our coop you'll find a full-service deli and juice bar, organic produce, fresh bread and baked goods, wild-caught fish, organic and grass-fed meats, bulk foods(including herbs, spices, and teas), health and beauty items, housewares and baby products, and more!  We carry a wide selection of vegan, gluten-free, and kosher products.
