The Basics Cooperative is a full-service grocery store owned by our customers. Our goal is to provide high-quality natural foods to our Janesville community. We are dedicated to providing valuable, healthy choices for our customers. We were very honored when we were named by WholeFoods magazine as “2005 Retailer of the Year!”
At our co-op, we carry natural foods that are as pure and minimally processed as we can find them–with as little as possible removed and with nothing artificial added. Natural, whole foods at Basics are also free from artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. We encourage sustainable, organic agricultural practices and support local food suppliers through our product choices whenever possible. We care about our land, the environment, and our resources.
